We'd like to make one final push to raise more money for these aforementioned causes to exceed ~15,000. As such, we will be conducting a raffle for gift certificates to Wilmette establishments. Any donation will qualify for the raffle. The following establishments donated gift certificates - Pit & Tap, Pescadero, Napolito, Valley Lodge Tavern, Noodle, and the Bottle Shop.

WFCC Regatta 2021

The greatest regatta ever held in Wilmette Harbor is back!

Game on! In light of the new mask mandate, we worked with Wilmette Harbor Club to have the bars, beers and band outside. We have limited tickets available. And the weather looks great!

Grab a partner and join the race.

Northwest Passage and Sheridan Shores Sailing School are sponsoring a tandem kayak race in Wilmette Harbor at 6:30pm.

All boats and equipment will be provided by Northwest Passage. All you need to do is register and show up with your teammate.

(Boat Registration is $100 per team)

The top two race finishers will receive a free 2 Hour Chicago Day Kayaking Adventure for 2 with Northwest Passage (valued at $140 each).

The first place winner will be memorialized on the WFCC Regatta Trophy and have the privilege of directing race proceeds to the Lurie Children's program of their choice.

Immediately following the regatta, please join us at Wilmette Harbor Club for drinks, a pig roast, and live music featuring Chris Karabas and back by popular demand Fern the Experience funk band.

All additional donations will automatically be entered to win raffle prizes including gift cards from local Wilmette businesses and exciting experiences with Brock Blazo.

Sheridan Shores Sailing School is donating their time, equipment, and expertise to conduct the harbor kayak race on our behalf. SSSS is a 501(c)(3) which actively supports educational opportunities for underprivileged and at-risk youth. SSSS is a certified US Sailing center and was just named a Siebel Center. The Siebel Sailors Program, in partnership with US Sailing, will provide increased access to sailing for youth, regardless of socio-economic background, at community sailing centers across the country.
